CAIR Coalition to Receive Award from Hispanic Bar Association

The Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia (HBA-DC) will hold its annual Equal Justice Awards Reception on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Mandarin Hotel.  Over three hundred of the most influential Hispanic attorneys and policy makers from the Washington metropolitan area are expected to attend.  As part of the awards ceremony, the Hugh A. Johnson Jr. Memorial Award will be presented to the Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition.  Other honorees include Robert Raben, Esq., President and Founder of The Raben Group, Sonia Gutierrez, President and Founder of the Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School and Eissa Villasenor, Esq., with the Office of Refugee, Asylum and International Operations at the Department of Homeland Security.

“We are excited about awarding these honorees and are inspired by their accomplishments and their selfless dedication to social justice and equality,” said HBA-DC President Jaime Areizaga-Soto.
