Photo: Guests at the ReceptionOn September 24, 2009, CAIR Coalition celebrated 10 years as a leader in immigrant advocacy and community coalition building in the Washington metropolitan area. Over 80 guests joined CAIR Coalition staff and board members for a reception at the law offices of Jones Day to honor Sidley Austin, CAIR Coalition’s 2009 Pro Bono Firm of the Year and Christopher Klimmek of O’Melveny and Myers, CAIR Coalition’s 2009 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year.

The evening raised over $80,000 from law firms and individual donors to support CAIR Coalition’s programs and help insure that immigrants are treated with fairness, dignity and respect for their human and civil rights.
