Starting December 1, 2017, CAIR Coalition is providing services to immigrant residents of Prince George’s County under the County’s new Immigration Services and Language Access (ISLA) Initiative. Under the leadership of County Council Member Deni Taveras, ISLA strives to close the justice gap for immigrants of the County who have been detained and are facing deportation. CAIR Coalition will be providing free legal services to detained immigrant residents of Prince George’s County.

CAIR Coalition is thrilled to be part of this pioneering effort to strive for the goal that no resident of Prince George’s County faces an immigration judge alone. CAIR Coalition’s participation in this partnership builds upon our existing legal services programs assisting detained immigrants in Maryland and Virginia, and will allow us to expand our ability to provide full legal representation to individuals in removal proceedings.

If you, or someone you know, lives in PG County and is detained and facing deportation, free legal representation may be available*.

For more information, please visit our website at www.caircoalition.org/need-help.

If a member of your family is detained and facing deportation, please call CAIR Coalition at (202) 331-3320 and dial extension 7027.  Leave a voicemail and our staff will contact you promptly.

If you are detained, you can reach CAIR Coalition for free by calling us at *1686 from the detention center, after following the instructions provided in your particular detention center

* CAIR Coalition cannot guarantee results or representation.
