The Capital Area Immigrants' Rights (CAIR) Coalition is seeking law students with a passion for public interest law and immigrants' rights to become part of our internship program for the Detained Unaccompanied Children Program. Legal Interns will assist our staff with representing detained children through meeting with clients, preparing filings, conducting detention site visits, and attending hearings.
Internships are unpaid, however CAIR Coalition can assist with internship credit administration.
This is a full time position.
CAIR Coalition is looking for an undergraduate or graduate student to support our Washington, DC staff across both our Development and Volunteer Coordination departments. The internship will provide the opportunity to learn and work in a wide range of projects centered on nonprofit development, volunteer recruitment and outreach, database management, and event-planning.
