The Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights (CAIR) Coalition is looking for an undergraduate student to support our staff in a Cross-Program internship. The student will assist the Detained Adults Program through the Legal Orientation Program (LOP), the SAFE (Safety and Fairness for Everyone) Network, and the NQRP Program (National Qualified Representation Program).

The Capital Area Immigrants' Rights Coalition helps to orient and represent adults and children detained and in immigration proceedings in Virginia and Maryland. We provide group legal orientations on the detention and removal process, explaining the rights of detained immigrants and the legal options available to them.
