Case Manager
Claire is thrilled to be joining the CAIR Coalition team as the NQRP Case Manager. Claire’s passion for immigrant rights began while serving as a City Year AmeriCorps member with middle school students in Spanish Harlem, New York in 2012. Prior to working at CAIR Coalition, Claire worked as a case manager at the Allegheny County Public Defender’s Office and as an English teacher in Madrid, Spain. Most recently, she served as a Border Rights Project Fellow at Al Otro Lado in Tijuana, Mexico, providing legal assistance to migrants seeking asylum in the United States. Claire holds a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work, where she led an organization focused on empowering local Somali-Bantu refugee families through in-home tutoring and mentorship.
