Senior Attorney
Katie joined CAIR Coalition in 2019 and represents adults held in immigration detention. Prior to joining CAIR, Katie worked at Northern Virginia Family Service, representing vulnerable populations in their applications for humanitarian and family-based immigration relief, with an emphasis on fighting for asylum for survivors of torture. She received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas. Katie is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the bars of Virginia and Washington, D.C.
