Stephanie joined CAIR Coalition as a legal assistant in January 2019. Prior to working at CAIR Coalition, she worked as a legal assistant at L &L Immigration Law, PLLC where she conducted casework for asylum-seekers predominantly from the Northern Triangle. During her graduate studies, she also served as the Citizen Security intern for the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars' Latin American Program.
She holds a B.A. in History and Hispanic Studies from The College of William and Mary. Upon graduation she joined the Library of Congress' Hispanic Division as a Junior Fellow. Prior to relocating to the Washington D.C. area, Stephanie was a graduate student and Spanish language instructor in the Spanish and Portuguese Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is Bolivian-American and a recent graduate from the Latin American and Hemispheric Studies master's program, specializing in migration and security, at The George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs.
