LVC Legal Assistant
I am part of the LVC program and have been placed with CAIR as a legal assistant for the next year. I live in Omaha, Nebraska but I am originally from Phoenix, Arizona. I attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha and graduated May of 2020 with my Bachelors in International Studies with a second major in Political Science. I minored in Spanish and Human Rights.
I have been involved with immigration through my community in Omaha and immigration has been part of my personal life. I have seen and continue to see injustices happen in the immigration system and by institutions part of the system. I have been passionate about immigration for quite some time now, which is why CAIR Coalition was my top choice. I am glad to be placed with an organization that does amazing and important work. I look forward to gaining tons of experience and helping individuals that need help.
