December has been an eventful month for CAIR Coalition’s Board of Directors. CAIR Coalition is sad to see off our long standing board member and good friend, Karen Nathan. Karen has been on the Board of CAIR Coalition for many years and has been a steady and guiding hand, bringing to bear her expertise on accounting and finances. Karen will be greatly missed and all of CAIR Coalition thanks her for her service.
CAIR Coalition is also excited to announce that Igor Timofeyev, a partner with Paul Hastings, has joined the Board of Directors. Igor brings an expertise in immigration policy and appellate litigation that will be of tremendous value to CAIR Coalition and our clients. Recently, Igor led a team of Paul Hastings attorneys to a wonderful win on a habeas corpus filing for a man from Mexico subject to prolonged detention. We are all enthusiastic to build a long relationship with Igor and to benefit from the experience he brings to the Board.
