On October 16th, 2016 CAIR Coalition’s Detained Children’s Program welcomed immigrant children and their families to our office for legal consultations and social services referrals. Thanks to the generosity of Morgan, Lewis and Bockius LLP and the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church we were also able to provide all the children who attended with backpacks, books, art supplies, school supplies and toiletries. The day was a great success and we look forward to our next family consultation day in January 2016.
