Legal Assistant
Marissa recently graduated from Saint Louis University with of Bachelor of Art in Sociology and a minor in Political Science. Prior to joining CAIR Coalition, Marissa was an intern with the Dilley Pro Bono project in South Texas serving immigrant mothers and children in detention with their credible fear interviews. In addition, Marissa interned with the Inter-Faith Committee on Latin America (IFCLA), working to coordinate DACA and Pro Se Asylum Clinics for immigrants in the St. Louis community. Finally, Marissa interned with the Safe Passage Project in New York, assisting in translating legal documents for immigration court.
